This talk will present the latest improvements on Linux on the support for the Bluetooth audio profiles, which are the most relevant in the IVI world: HFP, which provides wireless handsfree calling, and AVRCP+A2DP, which provides wireless audio streaming and controlling. There are several components of the Linux infrastructure involved in supporting these profiles, and the presenter has been actively contributing to improve this support. The talk will also comprise the current state of Bluetooth modems support in oFono, a full-featured open-source telephony stack.
