When it comes to Audio, Infotainment systems present some unique challenges to priority and policy management. Concurrent events such as Music, Navigation commands, Hands free phone calls and warning tones all require use of the cabin speakers and need to be managed to ensure the occupant hears the most important and most relevant information at all times, while preserving the entertainment experience of the system. This talk with review the issues in more detail, and an open source approach to this problem.
